Window Covers
Installing window covers on your boat will extend the life of the vinyl material and protect them from light and heat. Boat windows get damaged in harsh weather or get cloudy, crack or streak from exposure. It is critical to keep them covered when not in use.
Exterior window covers are typically made from semi-opaque mesh fabric or solid fabric like Sunbrella. Fully opaque “Sunbrella” covers provide the best light and heat protection but have to be removed for operation.
Another option is interior mini-blinds. They are attractive for the inside of the boat but don’t provide full protection for the eisenglass. Whether mesh or fabric, we can help to reduce or eliminate sun intrusion below decks. The Canvas Works can fabricate single, double, or full covers with multiple options for fasteners.
